In December of 2007, the Missouri Public Service Commission (MPSC) hosted public hearings on the proposed acquisition of Aquila by Great Plains Energy, the holding company of KCP&L. In fact, if you agree that this deal can be good for customers, communities, and shareholders, now is a good time to speak up because the MPSC will be holding final hearings April 21 through May 7. These hearings will be available via online webcast at www.psc.missouri.gov and the MPSC will continue to take public comment into consideration throughout the process.
